ABOUT B

Hello, thanks for dropping by here to hear more about God loving me to life

God has delivered me from so much in my life I have never been addicted to substances or areas or things like that or ever been High or Drunk but I have been a mess in this world in so many places, the journey I faced of depression, self-worth, sex and lies is one that was devastating to my life living as a double agent. I was worse because I believed the lies and knew the truth. Rejection and pain and blaming others it was them. Living in self-doubt even, God doubt. Having the power and denying it. But God Broke down those walls. Searching for love and wanting to be loved so badly I placed myself in places that stopped me from being all God desired me to be. It isn't about all the worst things around us sometimes the worst thing is us. We fight against the Lord, we live in insecurity, But the Power of God and His word will pull us out! I was the one with so much gifting and no where to go with it because i was in mine and God's way.

Awards & Nominations:

Servant of God

2014 Christian artist of the Year Glass Awards Canada

Brent

For His purpose, not our own. His purpose is to lead people back to Himself and Bring others.

"That He has given us power and the Holy Spirit to impact."

I have been able to do a bunch of amazing things with and for God but the utmost amazing is opening a place for people to experience and encounter more of God and the freedom that He brings and the relationship He desires is one of the most amazing spaces I am allowed to occupy

I remember sitting in my house with my mom and her laying on the couch as I sang to the Lord. Not to people not around an audience just her and I and Jesus no judgment, no insecurity, just safety just impacting the Lord's heart in those moments, What a privilege!

My story is nothing without the ink of his love in the pages. I am so much better and any good with the Lord. I have done nothing on my own, as I sit here writing this. He chose me from the beginning. God, He placed me in my family Praise, GOD! He let me live, He forgave me from all unrighteousness and so I can live in Him.

See you have to understand the cards were stacked against me from the beginning, I was mixed, given up because someone couldn't take care of me so maybe she thought. But it was God's design for her Angela Gabriel to have me but to send me in a basket basically to be raised by some of the most amazing loving powerful Godly People Glenn and Wendy Taylor to show me God's Love and in all that I would still mess it up. I would still sin, still feel unloved, still fall, still lie, still hurt people, and still be crushed by people.

I can tell you all the brokenness and the church hurt and the self-hurt and the self-talk, the lies, the pain just to be a part. Striving for love not feeling or thinking I am good-looking enough. Committing suicide with my words over my self-believing the lies from the enemy.

Never want to go out in the world but never step into God's best for my life in him because I didn't know how. But still, He loved me and waited for me...

My Story

The Story begins with a 13-year-old mother giving me up for adoption to Wendy a Mennonite, and  Glenn of mixed black, native American and from a  Pentecostal back ground became my God-ordained parents. and raised over 160 foster kids over 35 Years that is the beginning step so I know.  We are not the sum of what we have been through but, we are the sum of what God brought us through. We all have a story but the line or the thread that is the same is His grace.
His, love and relationship and redeeming power that Jesus gave to us and His life for us to be able to have and share the story He has been with us through each day of our lives! I am grateful you are here and a part of this moment please read a little of the things the Lord has allowed me to do if you need any more about the story.
I am so glad you are here.

I believe worship is the moment our heart's actions and lives in a demonstration with honor display to the heart of the Father. beyond our words, beyond ourselves, and beyond our thoughts. It is the expressed action of love in motion through our lifestyle in spirit and truth.

God is worthy of our heartbeat and our crowns! The songwriter wrote, “There is nothing worth more or that will ever compare.” There are many phrases that display the heart, but do our hearts display the phrases we sing. We believe that worship is the exciting, anticipated expression of gratefulness of all that is in us and around us. There are two areas of worship, personal and corporate. David said “I will not give the Lord that which will cost me nothing”, As well as “Let all that is within me cry Holy.” So whether in your home, car, living room, or church, we believe that it is not just a matter of the heart, but a matter of action.

GOD'S STORY IN ME ABOUT THE MUSIC SIDE:

This Story is one of grace and love; a story filled with the heart and hand of God.  At four months old, Brent was given up for adoption by a 13-year-old mother contemplating aborting him. God stepped in and allowed him to be adopted by Glenn and Wendy Taylor, a young Christian couple from Wheatley, Ontario, Canada.  This couple would pour the truth of God’s greatness and his word into him, filling his heart with confidence and biblical truths.  Discerning at a young age that their son was predestined for ministry, the Taylor's poured Christ into him. My heart grew for missions and being a cowboy on the side; a gift "That I  will forever be grateful for".

One night, as Brent sang in his room, his mom heard him and passed by. In passing, she recognized the extraordinary musical talent within her son. She began encouraging him to use his gift to glorify God. Shortly thereafter, Brent was enlisted in a talent night at his local church. The single success of that night would push him into a leadership role in music ministry and become the catalyst that would propel him into his destiny of traveling and impacting lives for Christ.  The story you are about to hear is one of purpose and destiny, and a story that only God could have put together. God’s story through my life is one of hope. God planted Brent to help those are around him realize God is our everything, and He has a plan for everyone.

His story begins with Angela Gabriel; a 13-year-old girl who was pregnant, and not ready to be a mother.  After many conversations and thoughts of getting rid of her unborn child, she decided to put him up for adoption.  Meanwhile, Glenn and Wendy Taylor, a young biracial couple, who were unable to get pregnant, were placed on an adoption waiting list. They waited and prayed faithfully for the right placement. On top of waiting for the list, The Taylor family faced another challenge. Wendy, a white, Mennonite Bretheren, and Glenn, a black Pentecostal, were one of the first interracial and interfaith couples in the area. Besides racial persecution, they fostered many kids in their home. Including the kids before and after Brent, a total of 160 kids fostered by the Taylor family!   “It is amazing how God was moving even then. Here I was, a mixed baby in the 1970s with no place to go, and there they were, a bi-racial couple waiting for the right placement. Yes, God had a plan." -Brent Taylor

After a call came through about a baby, Glenn and Wendy drove to the adoption agency. The moment they held Brent, they desired to keep him, as if he was already their own. But because no papers were filled out from the birth mother, the Taylors found themselves driving home broken-hearted and feeling as if their world had been turned upside down. They questioned why this would happen, and why they were even shown a child they could not have. Wendy and Glenn prayed and prayed. Each time asking God to show them the problems that needed to be fixed with the adoption, and how it could be resolved. A few months later, they received a phone call, asking if they still wanted the baby boy that they had seen.  Without no hesitation, they drove, picked up Brent, and brought him home.

A Message from Brent Taylor:
I was raised in a Christian family from that point on. God blessed me, but, as I grew up, I faced a great deal of challenges in school from being the only mixed-race child. I began fighting, and with a chip on my shoulder, I began struggling with school and home.  School was also a challenge because even though I was intelligent, I wasn’t able to focus or understand various things. I wanted to give up because I was called "stupid" and was placed in “slow” classes.  Later, I was diagnosed with ADD, but at the time no one knew what was wrong with me. However, I was great at sports and great with people. Basketball and my personality got me through school, and my personality and prayers from my parents have gotten me through life so far! God worked on My heart for years through circumstances and places, pulling me to Him over and over and over again. I would hide who I was because of my lack of acceptance, not knowing who I was! But God would never let me go. When I wanted to run away, He never let me get far away. I struggled for years, but in the middle of my trials, I found my place at a piano, writing songs to the King of kings and speaking to Him. God guided me through my insecurities, loss and confusion, hurt and anger; all of it. Music was my language to Him. He taught me through worship. Not just by a song but through worship. I kept slipping back and forth, but He continued holding on to me. No matter if I lied or gave myself to someone other than Him, He never left me. I struggled with who I was created to be, and was beaten up by the world; but through the word and His love, I made it. “He chose me; even when I would not choose myself, God Loved me. In spite of all the pain, bad relationships, bad relationships with my father, anger, loss, confusion, lies and so much more, God, through the Holy Spirit, opened my eyes and heart. I knew it was the Lord every time I would sit down... No matter whether I was up or down, or if I felt like a failure or was on top of the world, the place I would find the Lord was singing... not for applause from men, but to be heard by the Lord. “Being in God's presence changes you, heals you, and shows you He values you. That is the place where we can love Him back and have Him smile at us. Not so people can say YES, you’re awesome, but to say YES, GOD IS AMAZING! My life and testimony is all about Him. "I am a doorman, holding the door open for others to meet the Holy Spirit and be ushered into a room where he desires to take them. I am not the concierge. I am humbled. I get to sing, speak and minister on His behalf. There are a lot of parts to my story, but the one that matters above all is God, and I pray I reflect Him every time I appear on the stage of life."WE ARE NOT CELEBRITIES, WE ARE WORSHIPERS". Our story is not about all we have accomplished but what HE has accomplished in and through us.
